The Hawk & Trowel Plastering Centre will teach you the plastering skills you need to know. We run DIY plastering skills and plastering training courses for the public and for tradespeople who are looking to expand their services.

Operating from our modern training facility in Brighton, East Sussex, our friendly plastering trainers are all experienced craftspeople with excellent training skills. That means you’re guaranteed a valuable learning experience as well as great value for money. 

We believe in providing first class and accessible plastering training for everyone, from the DIY novice to the experienced tradesperson. Our plastering courses are designed to give you the skills you need for the jobs you want to tackle.

We run 10 day, 5 day and weekend intensive plastering courses through the week as well as courses split over two weekends and two weeks

The Hawk & Trowel Plastering centre is a 2500 sq ft training facility. We have all the professional tools, facilities and safety equipment you need, it offers a safe, relaxed and enjoyable learning environment with enough space to work on your new skills.

We also believe in honesty at H.T.P.C. so we don't promise to turn you into a qualified plasterer in one week. What you can expect is:

• 100% hands on practical experience from day one.
• Plastering practices as similar to normal working conditions as possible.
• Over 2500 sq ft training facility.
• Excellent  backup plastering notes to take away.
• Back up service via telephone or email after completion of course.
• To develop at your own pace.
• No more then 7 students per trainer.
• Dedicated trainers with over 60 years experience, members of the Plasterers Craft Guild and the Company of Plaisterers. Our trainers qualifications include City & Guilds and N.V.Q. levels 2 & 3.
• All tools and materials are supplied. All you need to bring are work clothes and safety boots.
• Advanced plastering courses to follow onto.

• In house certificate of plastering proficiency on completion of course which can help you find a job.
